I've always liked hang tags, whether imprinted or blank. (The circular ones with metal around the edge, especially, have lots of potential.)
And now, in the Vogue, January 2010 issue, a photos wherein the hang tags have been left on the jewelry deliberately...

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Love tags. Some of them are better designed than the objects they are attached to. Also loving the rounded attaching safety pins that seem to be popping up these days!
