Books: not just a message but a medium

Years ago, in my thrift shop wanderings, I found an old book of hymns, a discard from a local church. It had a red linen cover, (much like the cover shown on the left) with just the words "FOR THE USE OF VISITORS" embossed in gold. It was much appreciated by my guests. (It's these little touches that make a house a home.)

So I'm no stranger to repurposing books. That's why I'm looking forward to getting inspiration from: "The Repurposed Library" by Lisa Occhipinti. All I know about it so far is what I read here.
