Recently I saw a demure, angelic-faced child wearing a T-shirt decorated with a huge, vicious skull – and immediately thought of those small animals that are able to appear frightening to predators by making themselves look large and alarming (such as frilled-necked lizards).
Then I saw Daniel Palillo's fun clothing designs for children. Bold, graphic designs, many with faces. (He also makes clothes for adults.)
And also Heather MacCrimmon's great idea: she brought to life the clothes drawn by children in their artwork. (Click on "enlarge this image" to see the costumes in all their glory.)
